For three successive months, the Karuna Project Mobile Medical Team has been able to identify and treat new cases of leprosy patients. At the Medical Camp and Leprosy Awareness Program on 21.10.2022, the Karuna Team identified 3 new cases of people with Leprosy out of the 25 people that were screened for leprosy. And out of the three one of them was a 6-year-old girl, this girl’s life has been saved from a lifetime of sickness, trauma and stigma.
