OUR PROJECTS

JEEVITH VISHWAS KENDRA, Chembur

JVK Chemur

We are in our 8th year & this has been the biggest year for us in terms of our admissions in the Nursery & Crèche. On an average we have served over 50 children which is quite a lot given the space & the team capacity we have. The children, parents & community continues to be blessed as these little babes start their education with the English Nursery & the younger ones having a safe & healthy environment in the Crèche.

SOME STORIES

Vihaan & Vishan  are two brothers who come to the Crèche and their mother spoke to us about their father, who drinks and beats her. He doesn’t even provide money at home. She has her father in law living at home. With all these problems she decided to keep her kids at the Crèche and work and provide for the family. The creche has helped her go to work in peace knowing that her children are safe and well cared for.

Dhairya – He stays at the Crèche and the Nursery. He would not relate to anyone earlier. His parents had problems between them. The wife’s mother in law would not adjust with her and because of that she went to stay with her mother. As a result she had no job. Through counselling the situation has now improved.

DISHA, Kalyan

This was our second year and we have had similar activites like the last year – namely the Crèche and English nursery. Now in the Crèche we have children below  3 years  of age . Last year we took children ages up to 5 or 6 andjyoti creche found difficult to handle them.  Also this year the number of children has grown.

From May 2015 we received 9 admissions and till November 2105 the number grew to 17. Sadly due to some reason 4 children had to leave but we got 3 more children later, taking our totals to16 children.

At the Nursery this year from June 2015 we had received 10 admissions for the Nursery.

SOME STORIES

Sonakshi (Crèche) – She is a 8-month old girl from a very difficult family background staying with Any with mother and brother because father abandant them and Aunty used hade all this child but since she is here in our care she is happy and we can love her

Abhid (Nursery) –  He is a very regular boy & is good in oral studies but finds difficulty in writing. He is very friendly and shares his things. He is very good at grasping things quickly & repeats whatever he is taught in the class. His parents say that he only eats his food properly with you when in the Nursery.

Prince and Tanvi  ( Creche)-  They are from the same family.  Tanvi who was 2 yrs old had to take care her brother Prince who was 1 yr old.  We felt really sad looking at them & invited them both to come in our centre. Now the parents are very happy that both the children are taken care of.

SUPPORT TO WIDOWS

We also provide a monthly assistance to 20 widows @ Rs. 1000 per widow. These are old and some  are sick  with no family to care for them.
