We had an excellent opportunity for our three budding Entrepreneurs, Microfinance Group and Tailoring Trainees from Kalyan at the Food & Clothes Mela (Festival) organized by the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. The three graduates from the Karuna Tailoring batch of 2019 have recently come together to start a dressmaking business, while the Karuna Team and the graduates are working on a business plan. The dynamic trio have started stitching ladies and children garments and this Mela or Festival is an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their skills and designs. Being invited by the municipal corporation to set up stalls the three ladies put up their stall with clothes stitched by them. Wishing them the very best the Karuna Team members too participated by purchasing garments from their stall. The customers were mighty pleased with the fine fitting and quality finish.
