A dream becoming a reality

We have always desired to have a place of our own where we could run classes and activities for the children in a clean and safe environment. After much dreaming and planning, this is now a reality.

These children deserve the best we can offer. Lets change the destiny of many lives and generations

The building project to build Anugrah Community Centre is going on well. Initially we had thought of building just one floor with an enclosed terrace but was advised to do a proper concrete job as no builder will venture to build anything there in the future as there are too many difficulties and problems. Also a tin roof would proove difficult in the rains as there will be a lot of noise and in the summer it will become too hot.

We decide to go ahead and do a slab. However that has significantly increased the building cost. We also we purchased some more land which further increased the overall cost.

We had 566 sqft of land and we were building @1190 per sqft which worked out to be Rs 6,73,540/- and with some infrastructure we had hoped to finish the building in Rs7,50,000/-

Now this is the situation with the extra land and the extra floor and an extra terrace.

Ground Floor 644 sqft @1190	7,66,360/-
First Floor 696 sqft @1000(52 sqft (built-up area)	`6,96,000/-
Total building cost	`14,62,360/-
with some infrastructure it should come to about	`15,50,000/-
