LIFE AT KRUPA

PICNIC!

Krupa continues to provide joy in the sunset years of the elderlies, who are under its care. Apart from the occasional ailments, life in general is great!! Below are some highlights of the year so far .

STAFF PICNIC

On the 2nd of Jan, staff members of Krupa went for a Picnic to a village called Konegaon. They visited a family who were known to some friends. The staff enjoyed their experience of being in a rural setting. The beautiful thing done by Clara & the staff members was that they requested the women folk of this family to not cook any lunch in order to take a break from the daily routine. They played games with them and the Krupa staff members cooked food for all of them on the “Chulla” ( food cooked in the open on fire wood). This was a treat for the ladies as this method of cooking is what they are familiar with rather than gas hobs that are used at the home.

REPUBLIC DAY

COLLEGE STUDENTS VISIT KRUPA

A professor from the nearby college who was aware of Krupa work brought along her students to visit the Old Age Home. They had a lovely experience and they were really touched by the work we are doing and the care we provide.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

 We love celebrating birthdays!!

INDEPENDENCE DAY

A group of young people came over and celebrated the Independence Day with elderlies in the Old Age Home. They brought lovely caps for the elderlies, had snacks fun and sang the National Anthem!
